目前，BC省技術移民省提名每週都會進行一輪邀請，普通技術移民項目和技術試點項目交替進行。
技術移民試點項目候選人在申請時必須擁有指定的29項職位之一的一年有效工作機會。申請時，這份工作需要至少120天的剩餘時間。
